The MSRC Scholarship Committee was pleased to present three John Rogers Memorial Scholarships

at the annual conference on April 29, 2009. Danny Lutz, a student at the University of Missouri,

received the first place award for his original paper titled "Bronchial Hygiene Techniques."

Mary Dull, a student at St. Louis Community College-Forest Park, received second place

for her original paper titled "NAVA: A Patient Centered Mode of Ventilation."

Brittany Lincoln, a student at the University of Missouri, received third place for her original paper

titled "Home Mechanical Ventilation: Patient Selection and Discharge Planning."

Congratulations to all scholarship recipients.

The MSRC was well represented when several Missouri respiratory therapists traveled to Phoenix

for the Summer Forum July 11-13, 2008. In addition to attending the conference, (left pic)

MSRC members Doug Pursley and Shawna Strickland were invited to share their recent research projects

during the abstract presentation on July 12.
