Lobbyist Information

Gamble & Schlemier is the governmental affairs firm which represents the Missouri Society of Respiratory Care. We monitor all legislation filed in the Missouri General Assembly. Each year approximately 2000 bills are filed. Our firm reviews each bill to identify its impact on the respiratory Care profession.

Gamble & Schlemeier also monitors every hearing in both the House and the Senate, to ensure no amendments are passed that are detrimental to your profession. We report twice a month on legislation impacting Respiratory Care Therapist, and visit with Committee Chairman and the members of committees to advocate for the respiratory profession. Gamble & Schlemeier work with the legislative committee to develop a working plan for expanding respiratory care therapist’s role in health care, such as proposing disease management programs to the state, and protect any erosion of the respiratory care practice act.

We appreciate working with you to make your association a stronger voice in the Capitol

Sincerely,

Jorgen Schlemeier
